Camp L.G. Barnes is a long-standing nonprofit in Bentley, Alberta, dedicated to providing inclusive, barrier-free recreation and accommodation at Gull Lake. Since 1955, it has offered accessible facilities, adaptive lake activities, and wheelchair-friendly lodging so people of all abilities can enjoy nature, community, and meaningful experiences together. The camp welcomes the general public for day visits, overnight stays, retreats and special events, with amenities such as a fully accessible Main Lodge, cabins, and a range of outdoor activities designed for everyone.
Violet Webworks partnered with Camp L.G. Barnes to design and build a website that reflects the camp’s welcoming, accessible spirit. Our team visited the site in person to draw inspiration from the landscape, facilities, and community, ensuring the website felt authentic and true to the experience. We continue to maintain the site long-term, keeping it secure, up to date, and evolving alongside the camp’s mission and programs.
