In Calgary, Alberta, our Front End Developer and Business Analyst embarked on a remarkable journey, starting in oil and gas as a programmer analyst. A decade of knowledge in web development paved the way for a pivotal moment when she decided to create her own web design company, catering to small businesses. In 2019, a serendipitous encounter with the amazing Sarah led to a dynamic partnership, and in 2021, they officially founded Violet Webworks. Our mission? To provide top-notch graphic design, web design, and web development solutions for small to medium businesses. Working from home allows her to pursue her passion and be present for the precious moments with her three children.
On the flip side, meet Sarah Deschamps, a bold graphic designer with over two decades of expertise. After thriving as a freelance designer, Sarah, along with the brilliant Robyn, co-founded Violet Webworks in 2021. This women-led and women-owned business stands as a beacon of creativity and innovation in the industry. Sarah’s journey into entrepreneurship was inspired by a desire for freedom and flexibility to balance motherhood and a fulfilling career. Her background includes studies in Journalism at SAIT Polytechnic and Dance at The University of Calgary. A passionate advocate for the arts, she initiated a community art program for children and youth from 2006 to 2012, a project close to her heart. Today, she continues to break barriers, proving that strength, talent, and resilience know no bounds.
